    I used to own a very similar pair of original ww2 USN issue boondockers, but sold them a few years ago on ebay. With the unfortunate trend that seems to settling in at the moment, if I was to sell these boots today, i'm sure they would go for a much higher fee. The same goes for original ww2 USN issue watch caps I've sold in the past. A recent watch cap on ebay sold for about £490. I remember winning an almost identical cap years ago for about $45.

    yes papa....got two pairs my size dead stock.....

    unfortunate trend indeed for those of us who've been collecting for years.As for the watch cap ,it didn't "sell" for that price as the auction was rigged by 2 morons with one having a 0 feedback .it'll probably be back on the block soon.
