Needless to say ,i'm glad that still have this beauty in my collection. As we all know it'll cost me a kidney nowadays.Love the use of the inside and out of the hide to achieve the two tone effect .All the common and desirable details are present but the unusual DOT zipper tops them all.Was this a Scovill early attempt to enter the zippers competition under its DOT brand !??i haven't research this so far .So if anyone knows, feel free to post ........
That is a beautiful jacket!
ReplyDeleteI love the way the pockets are positioned on the waistband ...simple but great idea ......
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a Dot zipper before... One would think it would be military grade, no?
ReplyDeletethis is a first for me too.tried to research it, with the patent # but wasn't able to access the info and docs from the patent office ....if somebody finds something please let me know .
ReplyDeleteI thought DOT zippers were made by the British (now Australian) company Carr Fastners ?
