A NICE PAIR....40'S KNAPP BROS. ANKLE BOOTS
Not much really surfaced from a quick search on the net .Curious for a brand that made up to 12.000 pair of shoes a day in their factories .The brand was co founded by Elwin and Clarence Knapp in 1921 in Maine.the brand's sales declined in the 60's but KNAPP BROS.came back on the map,by using a "door to door" and direct mail order approach in the 70's "Because of its outstanding reputation for superior craftsmanship, quality, comfort and durability, Knapp became the largest direct selling company in the world......
